Rotimi

Olawale, Rotimi Opeyemi

Founder / CEO

Olawale, Rotimi Opeyemi is the Founder and CEO of JR Farms - a multinational agribusiness company with operations in Nigeria, France, Rwanda and Zambia. JR Farms operates in cassava value chain, coffee value chain, livestock and agri-food consultancy in host countries. Currently, the company operates 16 coffee shops, 3 factories and cross-border agrifood trading.

As a young global agribusiness entrepreneur, Olawale has worked closely with global partners across the world on various food systems initiatives, some them include the International Labour Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, African Development Bank, African Union, World Food Programme, Rwanda Development Board, French Government, Dutch Government among other global partners.

Olawale holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts from University of Ilorin; an Executive Certificate in Agribusiness from Lagos Business School and currently a PhD candidate at Wageningen University Research in the Netherlands.

His works have been featured on different platforms including CNBC Africa’s Captains of Industry, Harvard’s African Policy Journey, Lagos Business School’s Footprint Magazine to mention a few.

Ajibike

Ajibike Olawale is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of JR Farms Nigeria Limited; an agribusiness company that is determined to transform agriculture in Africa by undertaking opportunities to engender sustainable food production and increased income for African farmers- with projects in Nigeria, Rwanda and Zambia; and notable working relationship and partnerships with global organisations such as Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, International Labour Organization among others.

She holds a B.Sc. in Management Information System from Covenant University; and executive certificates in Entrepreneurship Essentials from Harvard Business School and Personal Effectiveness and time management from Lagos Business School respectively.

In 2017, she was recognized as the Young Entrepreneur of the week by Africa Development Bank (AfDB) Food Cuisine. She is passionate about service excellence, food systems in Africa, reducing food loss and waste, and tackling youth/women unemployment through agriculture. She was one of the youth voices at the global climate change event COP27 in Egypt.

Ayodeji

Ayodeji Adeyemo

Board Secretary and Legal Consultant

Ayodeji is a Nigerian lawyer with a strong track-record of promoting social impact, justice and equity. Pursued these interests through active involvement with the West African Civil Society Institute, Accra (WACSI), African Export & Import Bank (Afreximbank, Egypt), United Nations (New York), ECOWAS Parliament (Nigeria), National Institute of African Studies, UK (Nigeria office), etc. In particular, her work at WACSI and the National Institute of African Studies exposed her to civil society’s program operations, office administration, hiring and logistics, record keeping, customer relations and strategic planning.

Ayodeji holds an MBA in International Relations from Geneva Business School, Geneva, Switzerland; International Public Policy (PG Certificate) – Queen Mary University of London, London, UK; Barrister-at-Law – Nigerian Law School, Abuja, Nigeria; Bachelor of Laws (1st Class) – Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti, Nigeria respectively.

Wengo is an accountant by profession; he is experienced and competent with a demonstrated history of working in the Food Safety, Chemical and Analytics industries. Skilled in Negotiation, Budgeting, Business Planning, Operations Management, and Team Building. Strong business development professional with a Member of ACCA focused in Accounting & Finance from Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Wengo is the Country Manager for JR Farms in Zambia.

Olufemi is a seasoned Project Manager with experience spanning several industries including agriculture, information technology, education, healthcare, retail, government, finance, logistics among others. Experience over the years have been demonstrated in establishments in Nigeria as well as in Canada with direct impact on swift and cost-effective project delivery, cross-functional team management, and championing innovative solutions that enhance business efficiency and drive growth.

Olufemi holds both Bachelor and Master degrees in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria and also a Master degree in E-Business Technology from the University of Ottawa, Canada. He is the Country Manager for JR Farms in Canada.
